ABOUT

COLLECTIVE MINDS – THE EXHIBITION

Launching on R U OK? Day and running through to Mental Health Week 2019, Robina Town Centre in partnership with LIVIN presents ‘Collective Minds’. A creative collaboration of 20+ local and interstate photographers, over 10 businesses and supporters within the Gold Coast community, donating their time and services to help break the stigma surrounding mental health.
This pop-up exhibition at Robina Town Centre shines a light on mental health by using photography as the catalyst for a public conversation, in an attempt to make mental illness more visible, tangible and better understood within the local community.
Art can inspire us to look at things differently and through this special collaboration with LIVIN, we hope to challenge attitudes and shake up preconceptions around mental illness in our community.
Founded on the Gold Coast, LIVIN is 100% non-for-profit and is all about living your life at the top to break the stigma around mental health. Connecting, supporting and encouraging one another to talk about feelings and challenges because “It Ain’t Weak to Speak”. Through the development of cutting-edge education programs, apparel and community awareness initiatives, LIVIN are launching a generational change.

SILENT AUCTION

All photographers have kindly offered their unique images within the exhibition to be sold via our online silent auction, with 100% of the proceeds from the auction donated to LIVIN to support their LIVINWell programs and facilitators throughout Australia.
